Skiing Backcountry Powder Wyoming

8 years ago I had an avalanche accident. It took me 2 years to physically recover from the event and 5 years to mentally get over it. This season I skied off of Cody for the first time in 3 years--that's a story in itself. I was thinking about Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder. Then I just pushed off dropped the cornice and skied a line to the base of the Powder 8 Face. From there Forrest Jillson and Aurel Baker skinned to the top and were the first to ski the face that day.
